How High Neighbour works
No lock-in. No upfront cost. Just a chance to see what good community feels like.
01
Before any commitment, we come and run an event for your building. It’s free. Residents experience it firsthand, and your committee or manager sees what attendance and atmosphere actually look like.
02
After the trial, we put together a proposal based on what worked. It’s tailored to your building’s size, demographic and budget. There are no lock-in contracts. If the trial didn’t land, we say so.
03
A typical client settles into three main events a year, plus ongoing bolt-on activities in between. The cadence is yours to set. We’re flexible.
What an event can look like
We handle planning, invites, attendance, food, facilitation and clean-up. In between main events, you have the option to add ongoing activities.

Questions
No. The trial is genuinely free. No commitment, no upfront cost. If you don’t want to go further after the event, you don’t have to.
Most buildings that come to us have tried something on their own. We’re not trying to replace volunteer effort. We’re trying to take the planning load off it.
No. As the regular events are designed to foster connectedness amongst neighbours, they are for one building’s residents only. Your building, your event. We could consider one-off or infrequent combined events with other buildings in the vicinity, but we require all building committees to confirm and agree on common area use and cost.
Yes. High Neighbour Pty Ltd carries public liability insurance. We’re happy to share details with your committee or strata manager.
The trial event is free. After that, each event has a real cost covering food and our time, paid by your owners corporation or strata manager rather than by residents. Pricing is flexible per building, and we discuss the specifics in the proposal after the trial.
Typically we need four to six weeks’ notice, as it gives us plenty of time to organise and promote the event. We can also accommodate special requests where possible.
